Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon molasses
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Lawry's seasoned salt
- a dash of Tabasco sauce
- 1/2 cup water
Method:
- Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.
- Whisk or use handblender.
- Simmer over low heat for one hour.
- Cool for one hour and transfer to airtight container.
- Refrigerate for up to one month.
This sauce is meant to be used with smoked brisket, pulled pork or ribs, but could just as easily be used with grilled chicken. |
